We arrived at 9.00 AM at his bungalow and he was a little surprised to see us. He said the departure is near Victory beach. Wow, Victory beach is on the west side of Sihanoukville. So, he called a tuk tuk (it paid it for us) and the tuk tuk went at full speed to the port. It was really funny to cross the city without being stopped by a traffic light !
Fortunaly, the boat was still there. I even had time to swim at Victory beach.
The boat left the port at 10.00 AM. One hour later, we arrived near an island called Koh Koang Kang, also nammed Koh Tas. We made an halt for snorkeling. I saw a lot of Coral reef, but few fishs.
After a good lunch on the boat, we finally arrived off Koh Rong Saloem. What an amazing view! A crystal clear emerald water surrounded all the island. A long and white sand beach stretch on several kilometers. The temperature of the water is perfect for swimming.
The guide leads another group of people inside the forest. But I prefered to swim on the beach.
It is already time to go. Too soon for me. I would like to stay more. But I heard there are bungalows on the other side of the island. Maybe next time !
